Participants will gain valuable insights into different types of sexual abuse, prevalent diagnoses, and effective therapeutic approaches and techniques for supporting survivors of CSA in a clinical setting. Taking Sullivan's understanding of the self as a system, Dobrich proposes a continuum in which defensive dissociation may occur ranging from a more or less continuous self-system to a discontinuous self-system.
