Are you equipped to spot the subtle, early warning signs of an eating disorder before a formal diagnosis is ever made?

Early intervention is critical, yet real-world presentations rarely match textbook definitions. To bridge this gap, the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia (CSAB) invites you to a three-session, interactive online seminar hosted by the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP).

October 8 @ 7:00 PM

Once you recognize that a patient may have an eating disorder, do you know what should happen next? Eating-disorder treatment is never one-size-fits-all. Healthcare and community professionals must understand available treatment approaches, recognize when a higher level of care is needed, and help patients and families navigate appropriate next steps.

Led by Marissa Sappho, LCSW, BCD, CEDS-S, founder of Aurora Behavioral Health, this four-session seminar provides a practical framework for understanding the treatment landscape, collaborating across disciplines, and facilitating appropriate referrals.

In these challenging times, The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy remains steadfast in our commitment to our DEI policies and providing exceptional mental health care and training in an inclusive environment. At a time when many communities face marginalization and uncertainty, we stand with all who are being targeted or feel isolated or vulnerable. We remain dedicated to offering a space for healing, learning, and growth for all who seek our educational and treatment services.
