Welcome to the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, one of the oldest and largest not-for-profit mental health training and treatment facilities in New York City, established in 1971. Our highly specialized programs reflect a range of focused, in-depth clinical training areas. Programs include the 4-year Psychoanalytic Training, 2-year Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Trauma, Sex Therapy, Family and Couples Therapy, LGBTQIA+ care, as well as Disordered Eating and Body Image Issues.
