Presenter

About the Presenter: 

Dominique White, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist with nearly a decade of experience in the field of eating disorders. Trained at New York Presbyterian Hospital–Payne Whitney Westchester, Dominique has worked with adolescents, adults, and families across all levels of care, including inpatient, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings.

Dominique is committed to supporting individuals from marginalized communities, recognizing that eating disorders often go undiagnosed in these groups. Their practice emphasizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering environment grounded in cultural sensitivity, Health at Every Size®, Intuitive Eating, and social justice principles.

Drawing from a strengths-based and empathetic approach, Dominique helps clients explore emotions and work toward recovery. They are trained in Family-Based Treatment and Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) through the Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford. Continuing Education Credits
  • An important note about CEs: ICP is an approved provider of continuing education credits for social workers,
    mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, creative arts therapists, psychologists and psychoanalysts
    through the New York Department of Education.
    If your license is from a different state, please contact your state’s licensing board to find out if they will accept CE credits for New York State.
    If your license is from another state, please enter your license number with your state in parenthesis, ie 54321 (CA).
  • CE certificates will be emailed to you. We kindly ask for your patience, as we’re a small team,
    and responding to repeated inquiries about information already shared adds to our administrative workload.

Policies
  • Refund Policy: Please note that refunds for all ICP workshops are available up until one week before the start of the workshop or module. Fees assessed by third-party ticketing or payment processors are outside of our control and cannot be refunded. We are unable to issue refunds for technical difficulties, including platform issues, internet connectivity, or device-related problems.
  • Attendance: To receive NYS CE Credits, you must attend all session(s) in full. Partial credit, makeups, or late arrivals/early departures are not permitted under New York State regulations. CE credits cannot be awarded for viewing recordings of the workshop.
  • Photography and Video Recording Notice: By attending this event, you consent to photography, audio recording, and video recording that may be used for promotional purposes, including in publications, on websites, and on social media platforms.
FAQ

Will a recording be available? The recording of workshops is subject to the discretion of ICP and the individual speaker. While clinical material is de-identified, out of an abundance of caution regarding confidentiality and to encourage open discussion, recordings are not guaranteed and may not always be available. Please also note that if you are seeking Continuing Education (CE) credits for a workshop, you must attend the session live and be present for the entire duration. CE credits cannot be awarded for viewing recordings of the workshop.

How do I receive my CE certificate?

  • CE certificates will be emailed to you in approximately 2–3 weeks. We kindly ask for your patience, as we’re a small team, and responding to repeated inquiries about information already shared adds to our administrative workload.
