How to be Human & a Therapist in Challenging Times:

Breathwork as Self-Care for Therapists

with Charlene Rymsha, LCSW

Saturday, May 11th, 2024, 2-4pm on Zoom

Approved for 2 CE Credits!

During this 2-hour workshop, you will learn about the magic and science of Breathwork and how it can help you as a therapist decrease stress and foster a deep sense of mental well-being. Through the integration of mind and body, the session begins informational and moves into an experiential one. You will be guided through a full-length Breathwork session to gain an embodied understanding of the power of this self-care modality. Breathwork is very safe for most people, yet please review the listed contraindications. Even with a contraindication, you can still attend and receive benefits from the workshop because an alternate breathing technique will be provided for those unable to do the more activating practice. If you prefer to participate in the full Breathwork experience, please contact your healthcare provider in order to receive prior medical clearance.

Glaucoma, Retinal Detachment, Osteoporosis, Seizure Disorders, Recent Injury or Surgery, Frequent Panic Attacks, Hx Psychosis, Family Hx of Aneurysms, Vertigo, Currently Pregnant.
