Open House: Trauma Training Program

Please join us in person or on Zoom to learn about ICP’s 2-Year Training Program in Trauma Treatment.

Meet and speak with the Director, Faige Flakser, LCSW, CCTP, and other leaders at the Trauma Studies Center about all aspects of the training program:

• The process of becoming a trauma therapist rather than "trauma-informed"
• Program curriculum, including attachment theory, neurobiology, trauma processing models & beyond
• Individual supervised clinical experience
• Trauma Studies Center's efforts to create a diverse and equitable, training program for members of marginalized communities
• Details about patient assignments via ICP's Adult Treatment clinic
• The Drs. Kenneth & Mamie Clark Equity Scholarships and need-based financial assistance
• Open to graduates of Masters programs or higher with licensable mental health degrees.
• Applicants must meet the following requirements: Graduate degree in either psychology, social work, counseling, pastoral counseling, medicine, psychiatric nursing, or other mental health profession. License or Limited Permit.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for the 2025-2026 academic year starting from April 1, 2025, with a deadline of June 30, 2025.
