This year’s theme—Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll—reflects our commitment to exploring the bold, complex, and transformative edges of clinical work. This is a unique opportunity to learn, engage, and unwind with colleagues and friends at the Edith Macy Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY - just a one hour train ride from NYC! Non-Ordinary States and the Therapeutic Process: An exploration of Ketamine and Psilocybin in psychotherapy. This session includes a music-driven breathwork journey into non-ordinary states of consciousness, followed by communal integration.

PRESENTATION #1:
Rebecca Sokoll, certified couples and sex therapist, from the faculty of ICP’s Sex Therapy Program, is bringing a much-anticipated sex talk to the SICP retreat this year. “How to Talk About Sex: Or Sex Therapy for Non-Sex Therapists” will break down barriers between sex therapy and all other branches of the therapy world. The aim is to provide clients with opportunities to integrate the whole self in the therapy space. We will interrogate sex-negative bias, practice sexual fluency, and learn new concepts that enlighten and explain topics that may have previously felt untouchable in sessions. Please bring a willingness to share, listen, and process material that has the potential to revolutionize your practice.
Rebecca Sokoll is a certified sex and relationship therapist who works with couples, individuals, and families in New York City. She is a supervisor and instructor in the Sex Therapy Program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, where she has also worked in the gender, sexuality, family, and couples divisions. Sokoll has extensive experience working with people of varied demographics in terms of gender, sexuality, race, and culture. In addition to teaching aspiring sex therapists, she provides consultation, supervision, and workshops for non-sex therapists looking to develop fluency in discussions of sex with their clients. Sokoll has written articles for Psychology Today, has been quoted in multiple articles for CNN’s online Sexual Health column, and is featured on the Sexual Health and Well-being show with Virginia Haddock on SiriusXM. A lifelong dancer and mover, Sokoll helps clients to incorporate the body in their journey toward improved sex and relationships
Camila Pastor and Nikki Fall, licensed clinical social workers and co-founders of OUR HOUSE psychedelics in community, will share their experiences working legally with plant medicines and ketamine within the therapeutic container. They will invite the SICP community to experience non-ordinary states of consciousness through a full, hour-long breathwork journey.
Nikki and Camila will guide you on this journey with deep, powerful music designed to set anything stuck within you into motion.
Following the breath journey, there will be a communal integration time to process this experience together, allowing participants to explore important concepts and the benefits of psychedelic work. Participants will learn about psychedelic therapy concepts, including the inner healer, the authentic self, and unity—our connection to others and the world.
As certified EMDR trauma therapists with combined training in psychoanalysis, somatic experiencing, and IFS, Nikki and Camila will explain how these spiritual, psychedelic concepts inform their work with trauma and their clients' mental health goals.
Camila Pastor, LCSW, SEP, is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with years of experience in behavioral health. She is certified in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Psilocybin Facilitation, as well as trained in EMDR, IFS, and Compassionate Inquiry. Camila is co-founder of OUR HOUSE NYC, where she provides Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy in individual, group, and retreat formats. She has spent the past three years working with Temple of the Way of Light in Peru, providing preparation and integration support for ayahuasca retreats. In her New York-based private practice, she offers psychedelic preparation and integration through a trauma-informed, somatic lens. Passionate about equal access in psychedelics and mental health, Camila serves on the Board of Directors for The Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines and brings her expertise in working with diverse populations to create culturally competent, therapeutic psychedelic experiences.
Nikki Fall, LCSW, is a psychotherapist & psychoanalyst in Greenwich, CT, Manhattan, N,Y and Denver, Colorado. Nikki uses relational, IFS, EMDR, trauma-informed & psychedelic treatment modalities to help people heal from trauma and pain - to connect to themselves, others, and the world on deeper levels, as human beings, not human doings.
Nikki legally integrates Ketamine and psilocybin mushrooms into the healing process. She is the co-founder of OUR HOUSE NYC, where she works alongside her friend & colleague Camila to provide more financially accessible, psychedelic group work & retreats in NY & Colorado - and in any parts of the world where legal work with psychedelics is possible. Nikki also just started as a clinical trial therapist at Columbia University, monitoring psychedelic research studies to support psychedelic access and legalization processes.
Will a recording be available? The recording of workshops is subject to the discretion of ICP and the individual speaker. While clinical material is de-identified, out of an abundance of caution regarding confidentiality and to encourage open discussion, recordings are not guaranteed and may not always be available. Please also note that if you are seeking Continuing Education (CE) credits for a workshop, you must attend the session live and be present for the entire duration. CE credits cannot be awarded for viewing recordings of the workshop.
