Discover how gonadal hormones influence the development of binge eating behaviors through the lens of the groundbreaking Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study and advancement in the methods to quantify estrogen synthesis in the brain.

In this live virtual workshop, Dr. Thomas B. Hildebrandt, director of The Hildebrandt Lab at Mount Sinai, will present compelling data and insights into the neurobiological and hormonal drivers of eating pathology. Leveraging computational analysis, PET imaging, and neurocircuitry models, the session will explore:

• Sex-based differences in binge eating development
• The role of estrogen and other sex hormones in the emotional disinhibition of adolescence
