In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

• Identify when irregular periods stem from hormonal, rather than nutritional, causes in the context of eating disorders
• Understand the diagnostic criteria for PCOS and how to interpret them in complex presentations
• Explain how the cholesterol pathway influences hormonal balance in PCOS
• Apply a patient-centered empowerment approach, integrating nutrition, movement, stress management, supplements, and medication, for clients with co-occurring eating disorders and PCOS

Laura Cipullo, RD, CDCES, CEDS, RYT

is a four-time author with over 25 years of experience as an RD specializing in the prevention and treatment of eating disorders.
Laura integrates her expertise as a CDCES and CEDS to advance care for women with endocrine complexities including PCOS, menopause, and breast cancer.

Shannon Herbert, PhD, RD, CDN, RYT

is a registered dietitian and yoga instructor specializing in eating disorders and women’s hormonal health.
She is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at NYU and completed her PhD in Clinical Nutrition researching lifestyle management of PCOS.

Doris Pastore, MD, CEDS

is an Adolescent–Young Adult Medicine physician specializing in complex medical conditions and eating disorders,
with a focus on pubertal, hormonal, and nutritional influences across treatment.

• An important note about CEs: ICP is an approved provider of continuing education credits for social workers,
  mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, creative arts therapists, psychologists and psychoanalysts
  through the New York Department of Education.
  If your license is from a different state, please contact your state’s licensing board to find out if they will accept CE credits for New York State.
  If your license is from another state, please enter your license number with your state in parenthesis, ie 54321 (CA).
• CE certificates will be emailed to you. We kindly ask for your patience, as we’re a small team,

• Refund Policy: Please note that refunds for all ICP workshops are available up until one week before the start of the workshop or module. Fees assessed by third-party ticketing or payment processors are outside of our control and cannot be refunded. We are unable to issue refunds for technical difficulties, including platform issues, internet connectivity, or device-related problems.
• Attendance: To receive NYS CE Credits, you must attend all session(s) in full. Partial credit, makeups, or late arrivals/early departures are not permitted under New York State regulations. CE credits cannot be awarded for viewing recordings of the workshop.

Will a recording be available? The recording of workshops is subject to the discretion of ICP and the individual speaker. While clinical material is de-identified, out of an abundance of caution regarding confidentiality and to encourage open discussion, recordings are not guaranteed and may not always be available. Please also note that if you are seeking Continuing Education (CE) credits for a workshop, you must attend the session live and be present for the entire duration. CE credits cannot be awarded for viewing recordings of the workshop.

How do I receive my CE certificate?
