Though it may resemble classic eating disorders\, REDs requires distinct understanding of sport-specific pressures and\nbehaviors to intervene effectively. \nIn this engaging workshop\, you’ll learn: \n\n✔ Improved diagnostic clarity between REDs and traditional eating disorders.\n✔ Greater confidence working with athletes under performance pressure.\n✔ Enhanced ability to prevent long-term health and performance consequences.\n✔ Practical language and frameworks for communicating with coaches\, athletes\, and medical teams.\n\nWho Should Attend:\nProfessionals seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in assessing and treating REDs in athletic and performance-based populations. \nAbout the Presenter: \nRebecca McConville\, MS\, RD\, LD\, CSSD\, CED-S is a board certified sports specialist and IAEDP approved eating disorder supervisor. She is an internationally recognized expert on REDs authoring the book Finding Your Sweet Spot: How to Avoid RED-S and will be releasing the academic version\, REDsolution. She also created the first of its kind REDs informed provider certification program for clinicians and mastermind. \nAn important note about CEs: ICP is an approved provider of continuing education credits for social workers\, mental health counselors\, marriage and family therapists\, creative arts therapists\, psychologists and psychoanalysts through the New York Department of Education.
