Eating-disorder treatment is never one-size-fits-all. She manages a full-time patient caseload and teaches as an Adjunct Professor at NYU and Faculty at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia (CSAB). A co-founder and former President of the New York State Coalition of Social Workers\, Marissa’s diverse clinical experience spans inpatient and outpatient settings\, supervision\, and program development. She is a prolific presenter and writer on topics like eating disorders and social work advocacy. Currently\, Marissa is developing innovative treatment models\, researching binge eating symbolism\, and studying social media’s impact on intimate relationships in emerging adulthood. \n\n\n  \n\n\n  \n\n\n\nContinuing Education Credits\n\nAn important note about CEs: ICP is an approved provider of continuing education credits for social workers\, mental health counselors\, marriage and family therapists\, creative arts therapists\, psychologists and psychoanalysts through the New York Department of Education. She continues to train therapists worldwide in eating disorder treatment. \nBefore becoming a therapist\, Donna enjoyed a ten-year career as a professional dancer.
