Learn essential tools to support clients during these pivotal life stages while maintaining their recovery. \nDive into Key Topics:\n✔ Understanding psychological & emotional responses to fertility struggles in eating disorder recovery \n✔ Addressing body image concerns and disordered eating patterns during pregnancy \n✔ Identifying food rigidity and how to encourage flexible eating habits \n✔ Diagnosing & treating postpartum mood and anxiety disorders in individuals with eating disorders \n✔ Implementing best practices for interdisciplinary collaboration \nAbout the Presenters: \nAllison Jupiter received her BA from Brandeis University and her MSW from New York University. She continued to deepen her clinical expertise through post-graduate training at the Seleni Institute\, the Women’s Therapy Center Institute\, the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia\, and the Albert Ellis Institute. \nHer professional affiliations have included TRI Center\, Inc.\, American Ballet Theatre\, the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services\, Inc.\, Hunter College\, Bright Heart Health\, and Pratt Institute. \nAllison currently serves on the Executive Board and Faculty at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia. She has also held leadership roles as Marketing Chair for the New York Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals and as a Steering Committee member for the National Eating Disorders Association’s New York City Walk. \nShe is a frequent lecturer on topics related to eating disorders and substance abuse\, speaking to fellow clinicians\, middle and high school students\, and young adults in higher education. https://www.allisonjupiter.com/ \nCarrie D. Gottlieb\, Ph.D. received her B.A. in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Following the completion of her doctoral studies\, she began her career as a research scientist and staff therapist in the Division of Substance Abuse at the New York State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. She later served as the Director of the Day Treatment Program at the Renfrew Center of New York\, a treatment center specializing in eating disorders. After her tenure at the Renfrew Center\, Dr. Gottlieb established a full-time private practice in New York City and now maintains offices in both New York City and New Jersey. \nDr. Gottlieb has extensive training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy\, Dialectical Behavior Therapy\, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. \nHer post-graduate training includes: \n-Maternal Mental Health Certificate Program (Postpartum Support International\, 2021)\n– Fertility Counseling Postgraduate Course (Sharon Covington and Linda Applegarth\, 2021–2022)\n– Eating Disorders\, Compulsions\, and Addictions Service (EDCAS) at the William Alanson White Institute\, where she served on the steering committee and faculty from 2011 to 2022\n– Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis\, with an Advanced Specialization in Couple and Family Therapy (New York University) \nhttps://www.carriegottlieb.com/ \n \nReva Schlanger\, MS\, RD\, CDN received her BA from Stern University and MS in nutrition and food science from New York University. She completed her dietetic internship at Montefiore Hospital and went on to work at various eating disorder facilities including Monte Nido\, Eating Recovery Center\, and Within Health. Reva currently specializes in counseling those who struggle with eating disorders and/or disordered eating in a private practice setting. Reva’s mission is to help clients heal their relationship with food and body. She has also had the privilege of helping clients optimize their nutrition status for conception. She is on the board of a nonprofit organization\, I Was Supposed to Have a Baby\, helping provide support and resources to those struggling with starting a family. In her free time\, Reva loves to cook and spend quality time with her family including her golden retriever\, Daisy.
