The Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia was established as a division of the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in 1979 and is the oldest non-profit eating disorders clinic in New York City.

Training

CSAB offers a 2- Year professional training program in the integrated treatment of eating disorders. We train therapists on psychodynamic and behavioral techniques. Join us for our open houses, dates to be determined.

FREE Support Groups

We offer a FREE Drop-In Pursuing Recovery Support Group for those struggling with an eating issue. We also have a free Friends & Family Support group for those who have loved one’s with eating disorders. Come drop-in every Wednesday at 7pm for Pursuing Recovery, or at 6pm on the first and third Wednesdays of every month for Friends and Family.
