Are there any specific therapeutic techniques used in the CATS Division?
Therapists use a variety of therapeutic techniques. Therapists adhere to the treatment plan selected to fit to the needs of the child.
Are the parents involved in weekly treatment sessions?
The parents are generally not involved; however, there are some exceptions for more severe cases. Parenting counseling is offered depending on the age of the parent and the severity of the case. Parents are referred to other therapists in the CATS Division if individual treatment is needed. There are some instances where parents are involved in the treatment plan.
